About Laura Rosenberg

I'm an artist and interior architect based in Sweden, originally from Finland. Through my paintings I tell stories that are not just seen, but also felt. My work is deeply personal. My art is an expression of my deepest emotions, dreams, and reflections.

I live in beautiful Swedish countryside near Stockholm and my art is strongly inspired by Nordic nature around me. My work could be descibed as abstract realism and my art is strongly influenced by romantism, symbolism and old masters like William Bouguereau and Albert Edelfelt. I'm drawn by the tender beauty of human connection, the soft touch of melancholia, and the timelessness of nature’s quiet moments.

My artistic voice is feminine, romantic, and poetic. I create dreamlike portraits and landscapes with soft, earthy colour palettes. I focus on classical oil paintings but I also enjoy charcoal and pastel mediums.

For me, painting is a way to speak the unspoken, to tell the stories that words cannot capture. It’s a journey I began later in life, after years of following different professional paths.
